Feeling good today! Yeah!! Often times I find myself writing when I’m in darker times and I think it’s because I find it therapeutic to write my feelings and thoughts down to help cope with them. But today, in the tummy area where I feel most of my feelings is a dear feeling that seems to not get expressed as often. That feeling is happiness. My husband and I are going out for the evening to a BBQ and party with friends and I tell you the idea of being out and social with people we both enjoy hanging around is awesome! I’d like to be able to feel like this more often and I believe if I continue to use the skills I’m learning in DBT, this happiness feeling will come out more.
It’s a step. In the right direction towards contentment and inner peace.
